Donkey In The Tent
(Full Audio Version of this Story is Located at the bottom)
One day, a man was traveling from his village with his donkey. The donkeys’ job was to carry all the luggage. At night, the man set up his tent and settled for sleep. He woke up at night to find the donkey putting its head into the tent.
It was bitter cold night, so the man let the donkey keep its head inside. Later in the night, he was awakened by some movement in the tent; he found that the donkey had put his front legs in the tent. There was enough room in the tent, so the man didn’t mind. Much later the donkey had worked his hind legs too.
A few hours later, the man was awakened by an abrupt movement in the tent. He was so tired from his travels he didn’t think much of it and fell into a deep sleep. Throughout the night, slowly but surely the donkey started nudging the man out of the other side of the tent. In the morning, the man woke up and saw that the donkey was sleeping in the tent, while he spent the night out in the cold!
From that night on, he made sure his Donkey was always covered at night.
