No Boards, No Cards, Just Dice!!
The main goal to most camping trips is to connect with nature and family. There is something about unplugging from life that kicks up the Creativity and FUN!
TENZI does just that. The best part is all you need is DICE. There are no boards to get ruined, no playing cards being blown around on a windy day. Just Dice. Ten to be exact. Plus there a multiple ways of playing, with any number of people. Get Creative. Be Careful though, after the first roll, the rivalry begins and the Game Is On!!
What is TENZI?
It’s A Fun Fast Frenzy, is what it is!! Each packaged game comes with Four sets of Ten different color dice.
Object of the Game:
Be the first player to get all TEN of your dice to show the same number.
How To Play:
(2-4 players.) Each player chooses a set of dice. Players hold all ten dice in the hands. Someone says “GO” and everyone rolls at the same time. Quickly look at your roll and decide which number you are going to go for.
(For Example, if you have more 3’s than any other number, that’s probably what you want to go for.)
Put all your dice with that number aside, grab the remaining dice and quickly roll again. (You do not have to wait for other to roll again. Everyone rolls together only on the first roll.) Keep rolling as fast as you can until all TEN of your dice show the same number.
Who WINS?
The first player to get all TEN of their dice to match (TEN 3’s, using the above example), shouts out “TENZI” and WINS the game..
ARE There Other Ways to Play The Game?
Of course! Here are some examples of different games you can Play, Win, or DOMINATE!
Ways To Play The Game:
TENZI TOWER:
Instead of putting you successfully rolled dice aside, stack the one on top of the other. First player to get all TEN of their dice stack and shout “TENZI” WINS!
SPLITZI:
Instead of trying to get all TEN dice of one number, try to get five dice of one number and five dice of another number, and of course Yell “TENZI.”
TEAM TENZI:
Join forces and play in teams! Get all you team’s dice on one number. Or play this way – Each team member goes for a different number.
MEGA TENZI:
TEN dice not enough for you? You really have your hands full with TWENTY dice! Double the challenge, double the Crazy Frenzy!
STEALZI:
If you see another player roll the number you’re going for, steal those dice and give the player an equal number of your dice. No stealing on the first roll though, or from any other player going for the same number as you!
TARGET TENZI:
All players declare which number they’re going for BEFORE the first roll. OR, decide on one number that everyone has to go for!

Over 40 seconds———–Cubie Newbie
30 to 40 seconds———–Tumbler in Training
20 to 30 seconds———–Rockin’ Roller
10 to 20 seconds———–DICE Dragon
Under 10 seconds———-TENZI MASTER!

Mix and match your favorite TENZI games. Play Team TENZI Tower or Timed Target TENZI, or even Mega TENZI Tower Splitzi Stealzi. WEW! If it’s that Fun and Hard to say, what will the game be like?

THE TALE OF TENZI
How Did All This Begin?
The Initial Meeting
Two former co-workers, Kevin and Steve, at a small advertising agency bumped into each other doing a little holiday shopping. Having not seen each other in years began doing a little small talk. “What have you been up to these days?” asked Steve. “Thinking up board game ideas.” Answered Kevin. “Sounds interesting. We should put our heads together and come up with something fun.” Steve replied, half-jokingly.
The Eureka Moment
Well, as it turns out, this wasn’t one of those times when you make plans to not really make plans. Kevin wasn’t joking though, not even a little. A few months later he got together with Steve and handed him a bag of dice and said, “Let’s come up with a dice game.” Steve decided to give it go. It could be fun! After about a week Steve met up with Kevin and said, “I think I’ve Got It!” After Steve explained the oh-so-simple rules to TENSI (original spelling). Kevin simply asked, “That’s it?”.
“You’ll get it after we play,” said Steve. So they played, and played and played. Game after game, the dice rolled, rules evolved and by the end of the day. TENSI had now become TENZI, and Kevin and Steve had a Fun, Fast, and addictive new game on their hands. Now all they had to do was convince everyone else.
The Third Times The Charm
About a week later, they had a dozen TENZI prototypes in hand. Kevin and Steve walked into a local toy store to try to sell their game. “Nope, No Thanks,” said the first toy store owner. “Sorry, Not Interested.”, exclaimed the manager of another toy store. Finally, Kevin and Steve got a chance on the third toy store they visited. The owner, Celeste, allowed them to give her a 30 second elevator pitch of the game. If she liked their pitch, then maybe she would be interested. Well, as it turns out, Kevin and Steve’s’ explanation of the game prompted Celeste to buy some from them. Before Kevin and Steve even left the toy store, a curious customer bought two of them. Putting a well-deserved grin on everyone’s faces.
They're On A Roll Now!
Since then, TENZI has been on a fantastic roll. (Pun Intended). It has grown from one single store to over 5,000 stores in nine countries in the first four years. They started off packaging dice themselves in a garage, to well, still packaging dice out of their garage. However, now, instead of just Kevin and Steve, they have a whole team helping them out.
